A Huge Thank You to the Ian Burkhart Foundation

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the Ian Burkhart Foundation for awarding me a grant to cover the cost of a docking bracket to accommodate my wheelchair for my van.

Prior to Christmas 2025, I received what I can only describe as a “Christmas angel” surprise—notification that my grant request had been approved. The funds made it possible to purchase the necessary docking bracket for my wheelchair and to have it installed in my van so it would properly accommodate my chair.

Because of the Ian Burkhart Foundation’s generosity, I am now able to ride safely, comfortably, and closer to the driver—restoring not just mobility, but connection and independence. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in my life.
